With Edge Games Panel you will be able to play HTML-based browser games. Although it’s an unexpected feature that the company added to the Edge browser, it will be useful for those users who prefer playing games in the browser when taking a break from work.
Play HTML Browser Games in Edge Using ‘Edge Games Panel’
As of now, the company is testing the games panel in the Edge browser in the canary channel with limited users. In case, you find the Edge Games panel feature interesting and would like to know how it works, then in this blog post, you learn everything you need to know about it. To get started, you need to show the Games button on the Edge toolbar. For that, you need to click on the (…) icon and select Settings On this page, you need to switch to the Appearance tab, and then on the right side, scroll down to Customize toolbar section and then go to Select which buttons to show on the toolbar. Under this section, scroll down, and when you find the Games button, turn it ON. After doing this, the Game button will start appearing in the toolbar. Clicking on it will launch the Games panel in the Edge browser from the right side. For me, it only shows two-section Editor’s Pick featuring Surf Game and Microsoft Classic games which include Microsoft Suduko, Microsoft Solitaire, Microsoft Jewel, Chess, Microsoft Bubbles, Jigsaw, 2048, Microsoft Jigsaw, Microsoft Minsesweaper, and Matching Cards. But according to screenshots shared by Leopeva, the popular Edge browser tipster, there will be more categories which include Arcade, Board, Card, Puzzle, Sports, and even more. All the games listed on the Games panel will be HTML-based and you will be able to play them within a browser without downloading. You just need to click on the game of your choice that you want to play, then it will open in the browser tab on the left side. Enjoy the browser-based gaming experience in the Edge browser. Why don’t you try the games panel in the Edge browser and if it’s available for you, then let us know your opinion in the comments?
